Introducing "Stellar" by San Francisco-based artist, Ayça Kilicoglu, of Mūr by Ayça.
This is a unique design created with a first-of-its-kind technique you won't find anywhere else. "Stellar" is debossed and hand-painted on our newest Soft Solid City Slippers in Bone, lined with the softest suede.
Working with a new artisan group based outside of Kolkata, India that specializes in this heirloom technique of debossing and hand-painting* leather, these shoes are a unique fusion of tradition and contemporary style that will add a splash of artistic flair to your everyday wardrobe.
True to size. Size up if you're a half size.
*Due to our hand-painted technique, there are very small areas where color is painted "outside" of some lines and does not affect nor take away from the design itself – we find this special and essential to the nature of being hand-painted. It adds a unique character, making each pair one-of-a-kind.
How do I choose the right size?
Order your true size. Size up if you’re a half size.
It’s ok if your foot is very close to the back edge when they’re brand new, as long as your heel isn’t hanging over. They’ll stretch and soften to make more room the more you wear and break them in.
At first, your shoes may feel stiff or too tight. The break-in is a sign of quality shoes and handmade leather.

How long will they take to deliver?

• Orders typically ship within 2 business days and take 3-7 business days to arrive depending on your proximity to our warehouse in San Francisco.
• You'll receive an email with a tracking number, once your order has shipped.

How easy is it to return or exchange them?
EXTREMELY EASY!
You've got 30 days from when you receive your shoes to return or exchange them.
Just make sure not to get the shoes or the soles dirty.

Who makes them and what are they made of?
Mohinders are based on handcrafted, iconic designs from Northern Karnataka, India. Each pair is made by master shoemakers in the shoes’ town of origin, Athani Village. Centuries-old technical skill plus modern updates make them distinctive, wearable shoes that only get better with time.
The primary material is our shoes is vegetable-tanned water buffalo leather also made by artisans in a village nearby Athani.
They also feature a cushioned footbed, soft suede leather lining, stacked leather midsole, and a durable and grippy crepe rubber sole.

What are Artist Series Slides?
Our Artist Series encompasses collaborations with artists through in-house techniques – a way to keep special editions available. We brainstorm and collaborate with an artist to showcase their work on our Slides, which could take months and sometimes even years! These Slides are ready-to-ship and will be restocked as opposed to our Limited Edition Slides which are made in one very limited batch and sell out in a short timeframe.
